Sanjiv Khatri, Director of Software Development, Eaton
Sanjiv Khatri is currently the Director of Software Development in the Electrical Sector of Eaton. He has responsibility of Systems Engineering and Product Development of enterprise lighting controls. He is responsible for ensuring enterprise products adhere to design standards as per NIST Cyber Security Framework and guidelines and that product development processes include vulnerability assessments, penetration testing and system recovery mechanisms. Prior to Eaton Sanjiv has worked for Ingersoll Rand and Siemens in various engineering leadership roles.
He is a strategic technology leader with over 20 years of experience in developing engineering software, automation and control products and services and IOT applications. He has lead various cross sector and cross functional enterprise initiatives for common platform and architecture, time to market improvement and process standardization. He is a strong talent steward with experience of hiring, growing and maturing geographically dispersed cross functional engineering teams. Recently, Sanjiv setup Ingersoll Rand's offshore engineering center to take advantage of cost and scale while adding new skills.
Sanjiv enjoys technology, global product development, streamlining engineering and business processes. He is passionate about coaching, mentoring and developing next generation of effective engineering leaders. In his spare time he takes pleasure in travelling, writing and sports.
Sanjiv earned a bachelor's of science degree in electrical engineering from MS University in India; Masters of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Wayne State University in Michigan, USA; and a master's in business administration from Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota, USA.
